Inspired by the electrifying cheers of the 2007 NYC Marathon crowd, KIPRUN was born from the rallying cry, “KEEP RUNNING!” These words of encouragement, echoing across 26.2 miles, became our name and purpose: to support everyone to keep running so they can explore their potential and grow. We believe the running journey—every stride, every moment—matters more than the finish line. That’s why KIPRUN is dedicated to empowering runners with the tools, inspiration, and support they need to push forward, celebrating every step along the way.

KIPRUN created 42 House to be a performance centre for talented Kenyan athletes. However, it’s much more than that. This one-of-a-kind project combines high performance, multidisciplinary support, and education. This means residents can grow as athletes and humans alike, developing life skills to complement their running abilities. Their independence and prosperity come first, which is why 100% of competition prize money goes straight to our athletes. An added bonus is that we get to co-create with some of the finest athletes in a country that is at the heart of running.

Lead by the Kipnext—which features a patented glue-free design—we’ve reduced production emissions by 26% and paved the way for a 100% recyclable shoe.
