Biography

Born on 4 June 1998 and based in Milan, Micol Majori is an Italian middle-distance runner. On track she races from 1,500m to 5,000m (and also the 3,000m steeplechase), with a few road outings. She competes for Pro Sesto Atletica and represents Italy on the European circuit. A civil engineer by training, she joined the KIPRUN team in 2024 to keep building towards the top level.

Three-time Italian champion (Short Cross 2024–2025)

Micol has collected multiple national titles, including back-to-back wins in the Italian Short Cross Championships.

Italian Championships silver – 5,000m (Caorle 2025, 15:04.32)

She delivered a big 5,000m PB to take 2nd at the Italian Championships, moving into Italy’s all-time top tier for the distance.

European Championships – 5,000m (Rome 2024, 15th, 15:20.89)

She reached the European Championships final over 5,000m and set a significant personal best.

Off the track, Micol is based in Milan and trains with Pro Sesto Atletica under coach Stefano Baldini. A civil engineer by training, she combines the structure of her studies with the everyday routine of high-level athletics. Since joining KIPRUN in 2024, she has spoken about how much she loves the daily work on the track and setting higher and higher goals, with “one more reason to run fast” as she builds towards the next competitions.
