Away from racing, Loïc has a very “engineer” mindset. After prep school and INSA Lyon, he likes to understand, structure, and then execute with precision. He built his running step by step, focusing on consistency and listening to his body, before reconnecting with what he missed most: competition. Based around Saint-Étienne, he values a stable environment and relies on his long-time coach and mentor, Gilles Guichard.
