Biography

Born on 16 July 1984 in Roanne, Adeline Martin (also known as Adeline Roche) is one of the leading names in French trail running. After starting out on the roads, she reached the very top by becoming World Trail Champion in 2017. She has since added major international medals and remains a benchmark on the sport’s biggest classics.

Away from racing, Adeline keeps a grounded, people-first approach. As a young mother, she returned to training progressively, building back step by step. What she loves about trail is the nature, the sense of freedom, and how the mountains help you refocus on what really matters.
